The third week of competitions at Royal Olympics 2025 concluded with many memorable moments and strong team spirit across Boys’ Football, Girls’ Football, Tug of War and Basketball. Each match showcased the powerful sporting spirit and pride of Royal School students.

Week 3 of the competition took place at Royal School Phu Lam Campus and was marked by many meaningful and memorable moments.
Explosive energy from Boys’ and Girls’ Football
Football matches became the highlight of the competition week, consistently delivering passionate contests and strong team spirit. On the pitch, students demonstrated confidence, composure and determination through skilful ball control and wholehearted play. In particular, this year’s Girls’ Football made a powerful impression with the players’ strength and focus. Beyond their technical ability, they also displayed the spirit and confidence of young female athletes through precise passing and bright smiles after every successful play.

Strength and unity in the Tug of War
Alongside the football events, students took part in a thrilling Tug of War competition. The sight of students from different grade levels chanting together, gripping the rope firmly and pulling with all their strength became a powerful symbol of unity and teamwork.

Behind every victory lay physical strength, unity, shared understanding and mutual support among each team member. The students truly showed that “unity is strength”.
Dynamic play and tactical brilliance in basketball
Basketball continued to add vibrant colour to this week’s Royal Olympics, captivating spectators with skilful dribbling, powerful leaps for scoring and agile teamwork between players. Each match left lasting impressions through moments of speed, precision and seamless coordination on the court. Sharing his reflections at the event, Mr Nguyen Hoang Nam, Physical Education Teacher at Royal School Phu Lam Campus, remarked: “Through these sporting events, students strengthen their physical fitness, develop tactical thinking, observation skills and discipline. I also see how they consistently support one another during competitions.”

Week 3 of Royal Olympics 2025 was not only a platform for students to showcase their sporting abilities but also a meaningful journey in nurturing core values such as respect, friendship, determination and fair play. Furthermore, the heartfelt embraces of celebration, firm handshakes after each match and timely words of encouragement when teammates faced challenges all stand as clear and powerful expressions of the sporting spirit that Royal School proudly upholds.

Royal Olympics 2025 still has many exciting events ahead. At Royal School Phu My Hung Campus, the next competitions are scheduled to take place from 20 December. We warmly invite Parents and Teachers to continue accompanying, supporting and sharing these wonderful moments with our students in the upcoming competition week.
