Royal School students achieve outstanding academic success across multiple disciplines

TTO - Consistent achievement at Royal School is driven by discipline, dedication, confidence and a strong academic foundation.

Royal School proudly celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of its students across a wide range of academic competitions, both in Vietnam and internationally

Excellence across diverse fields

In the early months of 2026, Royal School students have continued to achieve impressive results across academic, cultural, artistic and sporting arenas at both national and international levels.

Among these achievements, Nguyen Tran Quynh Huong stands out with an exceptional total of 21 awards in international Mathematics, English and Science competitions

In academic contests, students secured numerous Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at prestigious city-level, national and international competitions. These include a Gold Medal in ASMO Mathematics, a Gold Award at HKIMO (National Round), Silver Awards at TIMO, ASMO, HKIMO and the Vietnamese Scholars Debating Championship, alongside Bronze Awards at ASMO, TIMO, FMO, STEMCO, the Big Bay Bei International Mathematics Olympiad and handheld calculator competitions.

Beyond academics, students also achieved notable success in cultural, sporting and talent-based arenas, earning Gold and Silver medals at major events such as the Asia Pacific Youth Ambassador Performing Arts Festival 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Sports Talent Competitions and the National Mixed Martial Arts Clubs Championship.

In addition, students attained a range of internationally recognised certifications, including IELTS 8.0, IC3 Secondary Level 1 Certification, Cambridge Flyers (full 15 shields) and Grade A in the KET examination.

These accomplishments reflect not only depth of understanding but also breadth of knowledge, as Royal School students develop into capable global citizens equipped with a well-rounded academic and skills-based foundation.

Notably, many students have excelled across multiple disciplines, with several earning distinctions in more than one subject

Academic excellence alongside skills development

The competitions in which students participate require more than strong academic knowledge. For example, international Mathematics contests are often conducted in English, requiring students to solve complex problems while demonstrating advanced reading comprehension and language proficiency.

While such demands may present challenges, they become a clear advantage for Royal School students. Through daily exposure to bilingual learning and a curriculum designed to develop academic knowledge alongside essential skills, students are well prepared to excel.

Royal School teachers inspire a love of learning while providing students with valuable knowledge

As a result, Royal School students consistently demonstrate confidence and a distinct competitive edge.
Nguyen Ha An Nhien (Grade 3), who earned six medals, shared: “Our teachers often organise group work and encourage us to speak English. We are also challenged to combine Maths problem-solving with storytelling in English. This approach helps us improve very quickly.”

An ideal environment for global integration

Royal School’s dynamic international learning environment further supports student development. Beyond classroom learning, students engage in a wide range of experiential and discovery-based activities, enabling them to apply knowledge in meaningful, real-world contexts.

Each academic year, the School actively collaborates with reputable educational organisations and institutions in Vietnam and internationally, organising exchange programmes and hosting large-scale events.

These include the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations, the International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition, the Phu Dong Sports Festival, IELTS workshops, talk shows on Artificial Intelligence and career orientation events.
Such initiatives contribute to a vibrant academic environment while providing students with valuable opportunities to engage with real-world challenges.

Students also benefit from the guidance of highly qualified and dedicated teachers who employ innovative teaching approaches, alongside modern learning spaces designed to enhance the student experience.

Together, these elements create an ideal environment for students to grow, develop and thrive as global citizens.

A modern learning environment provides excellent opportunities for students to develop their full potential

Ms Nguyen Thi Thuy, representative of the School Leadership Team, shared: “Royal School does not focus solely on theoretical instruction; it also creates opportunities for students to engage in hands-on experiences, ensuring that knowledge extends beyond textbooks and becomes meaningful in real life.”
